Request ProjectWise Access¶
This page explains how external partners can request access to our ProjectWise environment.
ProjectWise access is granted per project and requires approval from the project team. Access requests that are incomplete or missing required information may be delayed.
Who should request access¶
Request ProjectWise access if you are:
- An external consultant or subconsultant
- A joint venture partner
- A vendor required to upload or review project documents
- A temporary external team member working on a ProjectWise project
Internal staff should follow internal IT procedures.
Before you submit a request¶
Before requesting access, confirm that:
- You have been added to the project by the project manager
- Your organization is contractually authorized to work on the project
- You know the project name or project number
- You understand which role you need (read-only, contributor, reviewer, etc.)
Required information¶
When submitting an access request, include all of the following:
- Full name
- Company name
- Email address (IMS email only)
- Project name or project number
- Project manager or internal point of contact
- Description
Requests missing this information cannot be processed.
How to request access¶
To submit your access request, please have your internal project manager contact the JMT Project Manager through email.
Use a clear subject line, for example:
“ProjectWise Access Request – Project ##-###-#####”
What happens next¶
After your request is submitted:
- The request is reviewed for completeness
- The project team is contacted for approval (if required)
- Access is provisioned based on approved role
- You will receive a confirmation email when access is granted
Typical turnaround time is 1–2 business days, depending on approvals.
Important notes¶
- Access is granted only for the duration of the project
- Access may be modified or revoked if standards are not followed
- Shared accounts are not permitted
- Personal email addresses are not allowed
