Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This page answers common questions about ProjectWise access, usage, and standards for external users.

How long does it take to get access?

Most access requests are processed within 1–3 business days, provided all required information is included and approvals are received.

Incomplete requests may take longer.

I submitted a request but haven’t heard back. What should I do?

First, confirm that your request included all required information.
If it has been more than 2 business days, contact the support team and reference your project name.

No.
Access is granted business email addresses only associated with an approved organization.

Do I need separate access for each project?

Yes.
ProjectWise access is granted per project. Access to one project does not automatically grant access to others.

Can I share my ProjectWise account?

No.
Shared accounts are not permitted. Each user must have their own approved account.

I can log in, but I can’t see any folders. Why?

Common reasons include:

  • Access has not yet been granted to the specific project
  • Permissions are still being applied
  • You are assigned a read-only role

If the issue persists, contact the DCOE team.

Can I create my own folders?

No.
Folder structures are standardized. New folders may only be created with project team approval.

Where do I upload deliverables?

Deliverables must be uploaded to the designated project folders as defined by the project team.

Do not upload final deliverables to working or review folders unless instructed.

What if my project instructions differ from this site?

Project-specific instructions always take precedence.
If there is a conflict, follow project guidance and contact the project manager or DCOE for clarification.

Who do I contact for help?
